About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Business Analyst to join our Investment Book of Record (IBOR) / Record Keeping System team within the investment banking domain. This role will be responsible for driving functional analysis, solution design support, stakeholder engagement, production issue analysis, and documentation for a business-critical investment accounting platform.
What you'll do
- Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, senior functional designers, development teams, QA teams, operations
- Provide functional design and analysis support for system enhancements, regulatory requirements, client-driven deliverables, production issues
- Analyze complex production issues, client-reported defects, data discrepancies, processing exceptions, job cycle failures, and valuation-related concerns
- Act as a subject matter expert for escalated support items, major incidents, major incident calls, and business-critical production events
