About the role
You will own technical architecture across application integrations, Ellucian Experience Cards, workflow automation and data migration—and write a meaningful part of the production code yourself. This role carries delivery accountability, not just design accountability. Ellucian experience is not required.
What you'll do
- Own architecture and delivery: Design secure integrations, web applications, identity solutions and workflow automation on Ellucian platforms
- Document practical designs that work within platform, infrastructure and timeline constraints, and stay hands-on with production code
- Build platform expertise: Learn Ellucian Ethos, Experience, Workflow, Banner/Colleague data structures and the API catalogue
- Lead and mentor: Run architecture and code reviews, resolve complex technical problems and help new engineers become productive through hands-on guidance
- Lead data migration: Own source analysis, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation and cutover into Ellucian platforms
