About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a new role at Swiss Re, Mumbai. We seek a colleague who is passionate about providing a holistic client management approach with a focus on Motor Underwriting. The Underwriter will play a critical role in shaping Swiss Re's Motor portfolio in one of the world's fastest-growing insurance markets.

What you'll do

• End-to-end underwriting analysis of core Motor business including risk selection, pricing, contracts review and structuring
• Evaluation of treaties, decisive actions within your assigned treaties to meet standards and guidelines
• Lead or support deep-dive pricing and underwriting projects, often involving cross-regional teams and shared expertise
