About the role
To ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies, conducting training, auditing safety practices, and ensuring compliance with statutory and industry-specific regulations, especially related to electrical and manufacturing hazards.
What you'll do
- Familiar with statutory safety documentation and legal compliance requirements
- Coordinate shop floor EHS activities, including safety inspection rounds and follow-up on findings until closure
- Responsible for conducting safety training sessions on topics such as PPE usage, basic safety awareness, accident prevention, and fire safety, including demonstrations
- Conduct and facilitate Safety Committee Meetings at regular intervals
- Maintain accurate records related to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), accident reports, and corrective actions taken
