About the role
We’re seeking Accountant to join the Accounting and Finance team at symplr. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong financial accounting background. This is a highly visible role within the organization that will require collaboration across multiple departments and external resources.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end bookkeeping – including GL, AP, EE processing, bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all entries
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), including capitalization, depreciation and reconciliation
- Drive the month close process – prepare/review journals, accruals, prepaid and balance sheet reconciliations
- Review & process employee expense claims in line with Company policy
- Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and required explanations
