About the role
The position of Chief Automatic Fare Collection Expert & Chief Resident Engineer - AFC is the key position in these BIDs.
What you'll do
- Review and approval of AFC System Architecture - Central Computer, Station Computer, TOM, Gates, TVM, EFO, Handheld devices
- Manage interfaces with Signaling, Telecom, Power Supply, PSD, Civil, Rolling Stock (ridership data), and Banking / Payment Gateway
- Review SDD, SSDD, Interface Documents, Software Design, Fare Table Logic, Security & Encryption design
- Supervise installation of all AFC equipment at Stations, Depot and OCC - Gates, TOM, TVM, Add Value Machines, Station Servers, UPS
- Coordinate site works with Civil (floor cut-outs, gate foundations), Power, Telecom (LAN/WAN), and PIDS/PAS
