- Shaft Sinking and Deep Excavation: Managing critical safety for personnel and material hoisting, maintaining shaft integrity (linings)
- Underground Fire Protection and Evacuation Systems: Ensuring the functionality and readiness of fixed fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, communication links
- Underground Electrical Isolation (LOTO): Strict control over the de-energization and isolation of high-voltage power lines for TBM, ventilation
