About the role
The Accounts Assistant will work under the supervision of qualified Chartered Accountants and finance professionals and will assist in accounting, taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance assignments of clients across multiple sectors. The role is structured to provide hands-on exposure to professional accounting practices and statutory compliances in line with applicable laws.
What you'll do
- Assisting in maintenance and review of books of accounts for clients using accounting software
- Supporting preparation and verification of vouchers, invoices, expense statements, and ledger accounts
- Assisting in bank reconciliations, balance confirmations, and scrutiny of accounts
- Supporting GST compliance work, including data collation and preparation of workings for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and related reconciliations
- Assisting in TDS compliance, including preparation of workings, challans, and return-related documentation
