About the role
We are hiring AR Billing Executives to post insurance payments and to follow up on and resolve outstanding claims for our virtual care programs. You will work an AR worklist for your assigned clinics, find out where each claim stands, fix whatever is stopping it from being paid, and record the outcome.
What you'll do
- Post insurance payments, adjustments and denials from ERA and paper EOBs
- Apply contractual adjustments and move patient-responsibility and secondary balances correctly
- Reconcile postings to deposits, and correct mis-posted payments, overpayments and recoupments
- AR follow-up & denials
- Work the weekly AR worklist, prioritizing by age, dollar value and timely-filing deadline
