About the role
Cloud engineers are responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions for organizations. Key expectations include: Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend ways to improve our cloud infrastructure and operations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for optimal deployment in the cloud
- Work with operations teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions are monitored and optimized for performance and cost
- Implement security best practices to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
