About the role
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team and support cloud-based data processing environments. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to AWS services (especially EMR), basic knowledge of Spark and Python programming, and a working understanding of Oracle query optimization.
What you'll do
- Design and manage cloud-based data processing solutions using AWS EMR, S3, and IAM
- Write and debug basic Spark jobs for data transformation and analysis
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing using functional programming constructs (map, filter, reduce, etc.)
- Optimize Oracle queries for large data volumes using best practices and hints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data workflows
