About the role
We are hiring a highly organized and technically sound Defect and Release Manager for a high-priority legacy application modernization initiative. This role is critical in managing defect workflows, ensuring release quality, and maintaining coordination across multiple agile teams.
What you'll do
- Manage the full defect lifecycle from identification to resolution across multiple QA and development streams
- Facilitate daily/weekly defect triage meetings with stakeholders and track resolution ownership
- Ensure timely Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain a centralized defect repository with up-to-date resolution notes and traceability
- Coordinate and plan releases across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod) with DevOps and Support teams
