About the role
We are seeking an experienced IDC Progress Consultant to lead the design, development, and support of Progress OpenEdge 4GL-based Financial Management Systems. This hybrid role, based in Bangalore, involves close collaboration with IT and Finance teams to deliver stable and scalable enterprise solutions.
What you'll do
- Architect, configure, develop, deploy, and maintain Progress OpenEdge RDBMS-based financial systems
- Collaborate with internal IT and finance teams to gather requirements and execute implementations
- Investigate and resolve system issues, perform routine enhancements, and ensure system performance
- Conduct system monitoring and support patch deployments and upgrades
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration logs, test scripts, and user manuals
