About the role
Position for Vertica DBA with skills on Vertica or Postgres The job includes managing Multiple Vertica database clusters Installation, integration, and configuration of DB on Linux machines. In-house support to other teams in IRI such as customer service, deployment. Writing and using Shell scripts and SQL. Generate dynamic SQL from DB.
What you'll do
- Writing and using Shell scripts and SQL. Generate dynamic SQL from DB
- Responsible for all DB technical support aspects required by the clients
- Work closely with the management on customer updates and future plans
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the DB with good troubleshooting and root cause findings
