What you'll do
- Define measurement systems, locator strategies, and tolerance specifications for BiW components and exterior trims
- Ensure robustness of measurement systems from part fabrication to complete BiW
- Analyze functional requirements and create measurement strategies for module fitment
- Align tolerance concepts with stakeholders and perform 1D, 2D, or 3D tolerance stack-up studies to mitigate production risks
- Execute tolerance simulation in 3DCS to validate manufacturing robustness
