About the role
Supervises a team of quality technicians, inspectors, and/or engineers, ensuring effective in-process controls and defect prevention.
What you'll do
- Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
- Lead and execute CI projects using Six Sigma, Shainin Red X methodologies
- Apply Shainin tools such as Red X Problem Solving, Component Search, Paired Comparison, BOB/WOW, and Multi-Vari charts for variation reduction
- Facilitate RCA with structured techniques: 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA
- Drive reduction in internal rejections, customer complaints, scrap, rework, and process variation
