About the role
The Data and Devices Business Unit is seeking an R&D Product Development Engineer to develop high-speed connector and cable assembly solutions for servers, storage, networking, AI infrastructure, industrial automation, robotics, and other emerging applications.
What you'll do
- Support end-to-end development of high-speed connector and cable assembly solutions, from concept and feasibility through validation, qualification
- Partner with customers, Sales, Systems Architecture, FAE, and Product Management teams to capture VOC and translate system and application needs into product…
- Generate product concepts, perform feasibility studies, and develop detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering specifications
- Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFMEA, mechanical and thermal analysis, material selection, and design optimization
- Coordinate prototype builds, engineering testing, design verification, product qualification, and release documentation
