About the role
The incumbent will lead a team of 30+ Manufacturing Engineers and be responsible for defining, developing, and deploying manufacturing processes and equipment for new product launches in line with TS India's strategic expansion plans. The role is accountable for the annual productionization of 20-25+ mid-to-complexity projects , delivering operational readiness while consistently achieving targets for timing, quality, cost, and performance .
What you'll do
- Responsible to lead a team of engineers for delivering Special Purpose machinery to the Plant NPD team for execution of all new projects as per agreed APQP timelines
- End to End responsible for capturing the voice of Customers and All Stakeholder requirements of the product and then Buy/Build the machine to meet the expectations
- Train and Coach the team to build the M.E Capability
- Work closely with Procurement team to Develop Supplier base and increase localization of machine manufacturing in India
- Identify Automation and Cost Saving opportunities on Existing Production Lines and deliver realization
