About the role
The Data and Devices Business Unit is seeking a Sr. R&D Product Development Engineer to lead development of high-speed connector and cable assembly solutions for servers, storage, networking, AI infrastructure, industrial automation, and emerging robotic platforms.
What you'll do
- Partner with customers, Sales, SA, FAE, and PM teams to capture VOC, translate needs into product architecture, and define preliminary product specifications
- Conceive concepts and perform feasibility studies
- Run mechanical and thermal simulations
- Make the engineering evaluation/proposal to the customer
- Create the detailed design including 2D/3D drawings and perform DFMEA/tolerance analysis
