About the role
The Core Team Engineer is responsible for supporting India Core Engineering activities related to the design, development, standardization, and lifecycle management of shock absorber and strut components for 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler applications. The role ensures that component development meets customer requirements, internal technical standards, and program-specific targets such as OSE, MCS, VAVE, localization, and resourcing initiatives.
What you'll do
- Requirements & Concept Development
- Align with customer/requestor to finalize the Statement of Requirements (SOR) and maintain it throughout the development cycle
- Define component concepts, architecture, and release design iterations
- Maintain documentation for requirements, specifications, guidelines, and rules for component usage
- Component Design & Validation
