About the role
The candidate will be responsible for providing legal, compliance, privacy and other regulatory support to Cigna Health Solutions India Pvt. Ltd , based in Bangalore (“ Cigna BLR ”). This position requires in-office attendance in Bangalore and shall report to the Head of Legal & Compliance, International Health Delivery services (“ IHDS ”).
What you'll do
- Co-ordinate with external counsel and monitor spend of allocated legal budget
- Advise business units on a broad range of legal, compliance and privacy matters, including identifying areas of risk and providing guidance to minimise compliance risks
- Advise on data protection queries, policies and practices
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance and emerging threats
- Coordinate corporate compliance strategy and implementation in cooperation with Cigna BLR and Cigna International Markets legal and compliance teams
