About the role
The Life Sciences R&D department consists of around 200 engineers developing Electron Microscopy (EM) solutions and applications that help our customers make the world cleaner, healthier, and safer. Within this environment, we are strengthening our software capabilities for the cryo-EM workflow and are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a focused, high-impact team
What you'll do
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a group of approximately 15–20 direct reports across multiple teams and projects
- Build a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture
- Support career development, performance management, hiring, onboarding, and continuous learning
- Coach teams and leaders in Agile principles and effective ways of working
