About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer III , you will be part of Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, drive cost reduction strategies focusing on vibration and structural dynamics, acoustics, and noise control of our scientific instruments.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize mechanical systems and assemblies with emphasis on vibration control, structural dynamics
- Perform vibration, structural dynamics, and acoustic analyses to optimize system performance using FEA tools
- Design noise reduction and damping solutions using appropriate materials and engineering techniques
- Support system integration and ensure mechanical designs meet performance, quality, manufacturability, and reliability requirements
- Vibration/acoustic troubleshooting, including environmental/floor vibration and airborne excitation, experimental characterization
