About the role
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you'll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. This position is available in the DAIV System Team, a centralized DevOps team supporting multiple software product development teams across the EMEA region. The teams develop desktop and web applications for data management, image processing, and visualization workflows.
What you'll do
- Help software teams increase their efficiency in building new products and supporting our customers by improving CI/CD infrastructure
- By identifying waste, automating repetitive activities, and enabling teams to make effective use of generative AI, you will contribute directly to faster delivery
- Work closely with software engineers, DevOps engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to explore opportunities, implement improvements
- Contribute to daily DevOps activities including CI/CD infrastructure, automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, pipeline optimization
- Identify, implement, and lead automation initiatives that reduce waste, eliminate manual effort
