About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Senior Developer with 8+ years of experience in mainframe application development, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies, IBM DB2 and, along with the ability to analyze business requirements, develop technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality code.
What you'll do
- Design, Develop and maintain mainframe programs using COBOL, JCL, and other relevant technologies
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using IBM DB2 and related mainframe technologies
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot DB2 SQL queries and database operations
- Perform impact analysis, root cause analysis, debugging, and production issue resolution
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and code reviews
