About the role
To drive end-to-end gemstone planning and supply alignment by translating business, collection and jewellery production requirements into an effective gemstone procurement and supply plan. The role will ensure the right gemstone, in the right quantity, quality and timeline , while optimizing inventory, procurement lead time, vendor capacity and working capital.
What you'll do
- A. Gemstone Demand Planning
- Translate jewellery projections, design requirements and production plans into detailed gemstone requirements
- Analyze demand across proto, MTO, bulk and regular production requirements
- Prepare SKU-wise, gemstone-wise and collection-wise demand plans
- Identify upcoming demand for critical, rare, high-value and long-lead-time gemstones
