About the role
We are seeking a skilled Staff Software Engineer with expertise in developing performant advertising services in GOLang in cloud environments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising technology, including advertising signals and global privacy signals.
What you'll do
- Technical Architecture & System Design
- Own end-to-end architecture of the Golang ad proxy, including oRTB bid request construction, fan-out to DSP/SSP partners, VAST/VMAP response handling
- Drive architecture submissions for major system changes and get consensus from senior architects; produce design documents that define component boundaries
- Evaluate between competing architectural approaches and present trade-offs to be able to take the right decision for the product architecture
- Work with site reliability to define connection pool strategies, goroutine lifecycle management, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation under partner unavailability
