About the role
As an Academic Counsellor , you will be the first point of contact for students and parents , understanding their aspirations, academic needs, and career goals. Your role is to help them identify the right course, guide them through Toprankers’ offerings, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. This is an in-centre, high-interaction role involving counselling, relationship management, and academic orientation.
What you'll do
- Student & Parent Counselling
- Conduct one-on-one or group counselling sessions to explain program structures, timelines, pedagogy, and outcomes
- Identify student needs and recommend the most suitable programs based on aptitude, interest, and academic background
- Lead Conversion & Sales
- Convert walk-ins, leads, and inquiries into admissions through consultative counselling
