About the role
The position of Desktop Publisher is a key player at TransPerfect and is responsible for all the DTP and localization of print-ready foreign language documents. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who has strong production and computer skills that are balanced with experience in type, composition and document layout.
What you'll do
- Responsible for all the DTP and localization of print-ready foreign language documents
- Coordinate projects with other departments
- Responsible for learning new DTP formats and procedures
- Provide technical support as needed including but not limited to, file format problems, troubleshooting, scanning and image resolution
- Communicate any issues or problems to related departments, as that information is available
