About the role
The SOX Analyst assists with the maintenance of the company's internal control over financial reporting framework. Reporting to the Manager, SOX, the ideal candidate for this position must be a self-starter who possesses an ability to take initiative and who exhibits passion for building a strong and enduring control environment.
What you'll do
- Execute, at the direction of SOX Leadership, periodic top-down, risk-based assessments to identify and quantify evolving business and IT risks
- Update, at the direction of SOX Leadership, the company’s risk and control matrix and internal control documentation
- Serve as a resource on internal control matters
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors to support both control testing and the exchange of deliverables
