About the role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Assistant Cost Manager - Procurement to support procurement and cost management activities across projects. The role involves managing sourcing activities, vendor engagements, cost analysis, contract administration, and procurement planning to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.
What you'll do
- Support end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor identification, prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and tender documentation
- Conduct supplier evaluations and recommend suppliers based on commercial, technical, and quality considerations
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project schedules
- Assist in developing cost plans, budgets, and procurement strategies for projects
