About the role

Proofs of Claim are legal documents submitted to bankruptcy courts to assert the bank’s claim for amounts owed. Not all accounts require a POC. Automated and manual reviews ensure only eligible, compliant claims are filed (e.g., not out-of-statute, not low-value, not fees/interest only). Every POC undergoes multi-level review—first by the preparer, then by an approved designee, with checklists and system controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
