About the role
You will help build, automate, and maintain capabilities across UKG’s public and private (on-premises) cloud platforms, with a strong focus on delivering a reliable and scalable Kubernetes and Cloud Experience for engineering teams. The role involves working with technologies including Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/runners, OpenStack, Rancher, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
What you'll do
- Manage, improve, automate, and maintain platform tools and services across the organization, delivering value incrementally

- Design and implement automation using Go, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and other platform engineering technologies
- Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues, analyze available information, identify root causes, and develop detailed implementation and remediation plans
- Develop implementation plans that include automation, testing, validation, rollback, and operational readiness
