About the role
The Project officer will be responsible for the on-ground coordination and implementation of the Community Dental Van Project across Mumbai and surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating the dental van’s visits to different communities, liaising with government authorities, mobilising community groups, facilitating dental screening and treatment camps, and ensuring smooth delivery of dental services.
What you'll do
- Plan and coordinate dental van visits and community outreach activities across Mumbai and Karjat
- Coordinate with Government Dental College faculty, dental professionals, support staff, and government officials to schedule field visits and ensure service delivery
- Liaise with municipal corporations, government health departments, health facilities, local authorities, community leaders, schools, and community-based organisations
- Mobilise participants for dental screening, consultations, treatment, and oral health awareness activities
- Organise dental camps and ensure necessary permissions, equipment, logistics, and field arrangements
