JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Firmware Developer – IEC 61850 Communication Position Overview Seeking an experienced Smart Grid and IEC 61850 specialist to join our team. Firmware developer who has worked on IEC 61850 server stack. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining communication protocols and systems for modern electrical grid infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Work with cutting-edge smart grid technologies, contribute to digital substation projects, and help drive the modernization of power distribution networks
- Design, develop, and integrate IEC 61850 server stack functionality within embedded/firmware-based devices. 3
- Implement and configure IEC 61850 data models, logical nodes, datasets, reports, and communication services. 4
- Develop and manage SCL (Substation Configuration Language) files and related device configurations. 5
- Perform testing, validation, and debugging of IEC 61850-based protection and control devices. 6
