About the role
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise-scale application architecture. This role will be responsible for defining architecture standards, guiding engineering teams, driving technical decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence across the platform.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the Cortex solution architecture across frontend, backend, data, integration, and infrastructure layers
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, API contracts, data models, security controls, observability, and operational readiness practices
- Lead integrations with Athena, SDP, DAP, visualization frameworks, and contributor plugin ecosystems
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership for complex engineering initiatives
- Drive technical risk assessment, mitigation planning, root cause analysis, and cross-team decision-making
