About the role
We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. You will be working with a global team to build next-generation data protection services focused on ensuring data resilience for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building features from the ground up that will be deployed and utilised worldwide
What you'll do
- Defines and drives technical vision for multiple areas within their team. Leads cross-team deliverables
- Design and develop highly reliable and scalable SaaS microservices, integrated with a variety of cloud-based managed services utilizing Golang
- Participate in technical design discussions, reviewing code, and providing feedback to other engineers. Solves hardest
- Drives team deliverables in a timely and predictable fashion. Sets execution standards across the team. Ensure your code is high-quality, thoroughly tested, and secure
- Facilitates effective collaboration and organizes across the engineering organization
