About the role
Have basic understanding of P&ID and is able to read heat and mass balance diagrams. Has basic understanding in pretreatment, filtration and post treatment Fully understand the requirement and impact of heat & mass balance diagram and interpret on P&ID line flows. Thorough understanding and interpretation of MOCs, piping specifications with applicable codes & standards like ASME, ASTM, API, DIN
What you'll do
- Review & Approve P&IDs and provide mark ups per project specification and mass balance diagram
- Perform sanity checks of P&IDs w.r.t. pressure, flow, storage level requirements, MOC detailing, dosing studies, product fact checks for mechanical packages
- Review & Approve sizing and velocity check calculations for different fluid applications
- Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as sold requirements to customer on the P&IDs w.r.t to proposal engineering
- Ensure correctness, verify and cross check calculations for all mechanical equipment
