About the role
The Planner/Scheduler specializes in using Primavera P6 for scheduling. The PCA takes charge of managing SAP. For smaller projects, the PCA is a multi-tasker, handling both P6 scheduling and SAP tasks like closing WBS, Project Progress reports , invoicing clients, and maintaining project schedules. He also creates and maintains the schedule using input from various departments and the Project Manager.
What you'll do
- Develop the initial project schedule based on the contract and kickoff meeting discussions
- Identify contractual milestones and dependencies between stakeholders
- Identify the critical path and total float
- Conduct regular project schedule reviews with project stakeholders
- Update the schedule based on progress reports and decisions from project reviews
