About the role
We are seeking a Software QA Engineer II to join the team responsible for one of X-Rite's strategically important desktop software products. This product plays a critical role in our customers' workflows and has a large installed base worldwide. The primary focus of this role is to improve product quality and increase automated test coverage for a mature Windows desktop application.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for a business-critical Windows desktop application
- Increase regression test automation coverage while ensuring long-term maintainability of automation assets
- Evaluate and implement appropriate UI automation strategies and tools for a mature desktop application
- Create automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests
- Perform exploratory and risk-based manual testing where automation is not practical
