About the role
The Principal Engineer, Electrical Systems Engineering is responsible for the design and development of 1-phase power products. This role requires strong technical knowledge, as well as excellent coaching skills to guide and mentor team members.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of advanced power electronics circuits, including converters, inverters, and power supplies
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize designs, ensuring efficiency, performance, and reliability
- Define system architectures for power conversion and energy management systems, including power distribution, protection, and control strategies
- Ensure seamless integration of power electronics with other subsystems (e.g., mechanical, thermal, and control systems)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, systems engineering) to define system-level requirements and resolve any integration issues
