About the role
Lead Engineer - BIM is responsible for coordinating the BIM efforts of all project teams at Vertiv. This includes ensuring that all members of the team are following BEP, Vertiv standards and process, adhering to the model standards set with the right software, exchanging data regularly.
What you'll do
- Design & domain knowledge of MEP engineering systems for data centers (preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit in MEP, Navisworks
- Setup and manage large sheets sets including revisions and markups for each project. Plot drawings to pdf & dwg
- Work with clients during pre‐construction phase to build the 3D models, 2D Shop Drawings, As‐Built and Submittal drawings
- Proficiency in Dynamo Scripting & APIs to create custom tools and workflows that address specific project needs is required
