About the role
We are seeking an accomplished Software Engineer - Sr. consultant Level to help shape the technical strategy and architecture of next-generation Data Engineering and Generative AI platforms within Visa's Payment Fraud Disruption engineering team. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with technical leadership.
What you'll do
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable data platforms, APIs, and distributed services
- Design real-time and batch processing solutions supporting fraud intelligence, analytics, and machine learning workloads
- Drive production adoption of Generative AI, RAG, intelligent copilots, and agentic workflows
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Platform Engineering, and Security teams to define technical strategy and execution plans
- Improve scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence across critical platforms
