About the role
Manager, Legal (VAS & South Asia | India & South Asia): The Visa India & South Asia Legal team manages Visa’s legal affairs across the India & South Asia region. The team provides advice and support to ensure business objectives are achieved while protecting Visa’s brand and reputation and minimizing legal, regulatory and commercial risk.
What you'll do
- Draft, negotiate and manage complex technology, SaaS, consulting, data, licensing, outsourcing, strategic partnership and commercial agreements
- Support RFP responses, new product launches, strategic initiatives, acquisitions-related integrations and go-to-market activities
- Advise on legal, regulatory, privacy, data governance, intellectual property and risk management issues affecting VAS offerings
- Provide legal support for all business activities across Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, including product, commercial, regulatory and operational matters
- Work effectively with regional and global legal, compliance, privacy, tax, risk and government engagement teams
