About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Analyst (MBS-IC-02) – Australian Accounts & Taxation . Independent Analyst. Performs accounting activities independently — reviewing financial information, analyzing variances, completing reconciliations, supporting Australian tax and compliance activities — while coordinating directly with clients to resolve operational issues.
What you'll do
- Assist in preparation and review of Australian BAS, GST, and related compliance activities
- Review and reconcile GST accounts and BAS-related transactions , identifying discrepancies and obtaining clarification where required
- Support Australian taxation compliance activities by preparing tax workpapers, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Assist with Australian EOFY and year-end accounting and taxation activities , including preparation of required financial information and supporting schedules
- Review and maintain accurate records relating to superannuation, GST, PAYG, and other Australian compliance-related transactions
