About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Application Packaging Engineer to manage the end-to-end packaging, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications. This role is responsible for ensuring applications are delivered securely, consistently, and efficiently across Windows, macOS, Virtual Desktop, and Mobile platforms.
What you'll do
- Own application delivery from intake and technical assessment through packaging, testing, user acceptance testing, release, deployment readiness, and operational handover
- Package and standardise applications for Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, MECM, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, App-V, and Citrix environments
- Develop and validate installation, uninstallation, upgrade, repair, detection, dependency, rollback, and user/system context deployment logic
- Perform compatibility, functionality, security, regression, and deployment testing while resolving complex packaging and installation issues
- Drive application upgrades, vulnerability remediation, version standardisation, end-of-support and end-of-life treatment, retirement
