About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations and Cloud Infrastructure professional to join our Cloud Operations team based in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and evolving cloud platforms that enable the virtualisation of network functions across Vodafone’s core network.
What you'll do
- Manage and support a mixed cloud environment comprising VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX and Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS)
- Troubleshoot critical incidents and perform incident management, fault resolution and error handling activities
- Implement security policies and remediate platform vulnerabilities in accordance with industry best practices and organisational standards
- Coordinate and support change management, fault management and service request processes in partnership with design and delivery teams
- Assess platform releases, firmware updates and security patches, planning and coordinating upgrades with consideration of cross-market dependencies
