About the role
We are seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to join the Cloud Operations team, supporting cloud environments that virtualise network functions within Vodafone’s core network. This role focuses on operating and enhancing multi-vendor cloud platforms, managing incidents, implementing security controls, supporting platform lifecycle activities, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple markets to ensure resilient and efficient cloud services
What you'll do
- Manage and support cloud platforms including VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX, and Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS)
- Support storage and network technologies within a complex cloud environment
- Troubleshoot platform issues, manage incidents, and perform error resolution activities for critical services
- Implement security policies and remediate vulnerabilities in line with organisational standards and best practices
- Coordinate change management, fault management, and service request processes with design and delivery teams across markets
