About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Centre Network Operations Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and security of Vodafone’s global data centre and cloud network environments. Based in Pune, this role supports business-critical infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, with a strong focus on Azure networking, data centre operations, incident management, service reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Provide 24x7 operational support (including on-call) for cloud and data centre network services, owning incidents through to resolution within agreed service levels
- Operate, administer, and support Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, subnets, User Defined Routes (UDRs), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure DNS
- Escalate issues appropriately to internal specialist teams or external vendors when required
- Participate in major incident management processes and provide timely updates to customers, support teams, and business stakeholders
- Drive continuous service improvement by identifying recurring issues, supporting root cause investigations, and implementing preventive actions
