About the role
We are seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator specialising in DB2 and Informix to support critical database operations and maintain end-to-end service stability and availability. Based at SP Infocity, Pune , the role requires approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant application database support experience .
What you'll do
- Administer and operationally support production DB2 and Informix databases , with exposure to Oracle and other relational database technologies
- Analyse database and application performance bottlenecks, including scripts, code and user-generated queries
- Perform SQL and database performance tuning to improve application and service performance
- Support database upgrades and migrations, including integration with other RDBMS platforms
- Manage database configuration, memory, storage and high-availability architectures
